Verification process for customers from South Africa

Account verification is mandatory. Completing verification grants full access to all PrimeXBT platform features, including all available deposit and withdrawal methods.

This process ensures compliance with local regulations, safeguards your account, and facilitates seamless transactions.

To begin, click ‘Settings’ from the Account dropdown menu. Alternatively, select ‘Verify Account’ directly from the same menu.

Verifying your account step-by-step

  1. Click ‘Verify Account’:

    • You’ll be directed to the verification process where you can choose your preferred device for completion.

  2. Choose your verification method:

    • Select ‘Continue on this device’ to proceed using your computer or tablet.

    • Alternatively, select ‘Continue on phone’ if you prefer to complete verification on your smartphone.

  3. Fill in your personal information:

    • Provide accurate details as prompted, including your full name, date of birth, and address.

  1. Select your country and document type:

    • Choose your country of residence and the type of identification document you’ll use (passport, residence permit, or national ID).

    • Click ‘Continue’ to proceed.

  2. Upload your document:

    • Ensure the document is clear, uncropped, and fully visible.

    • For two-sided documents, upload both sides. Double-check for clarity before submitting.

  3. Automatic redirection:

    • After successful upload, you’ll be redirected to the ‘Settings’ page.

What happens next?

Verification typically takes no more than 2 minutes. Once completed, your account status will be updated to ‘Account verified,’ and all platform features will be unlocked immediately.

Proof of Address (POA) Requirement

In some cases, you may be asked to provide a Proof of Address (POA) document after completing a deposit. Ensure your POA is valid, clear, and matches the personal information on your account.
