Answers to the most common questions about connecting PrimeXBT to TradingView and trading there.

Connecting

Why don't I see PrimeXBT in the TradingView broker list?

  • PrimeXBT isn't in the default list. In the Trade with your broker window, click the search icon (magnifying glass) in the top-right corner and type PrimeXBT.

  • You may be in a restricted jurisdiction, for example the USA, Canada or Japan. See Restricted Jurisdictions for the full list.

  • Your VPN may be on. TradingView shows brokers based on your location. Turn off your VPN and reload the page.

Do I need a paid TradingView subscription?

No. You can connect PrimeXBT and trade with a free TradingView account.

Can I use a Demo account?

Yes. Select Demo when you connect PrimeXBT to TradingView.

This is your PrimeXBT demo account. It isn't the same as TradingView's Paper Trading, which is a separate simulator with its own balance and positions. Trades on one don't appear on the other.

Can I connect my MT5 account?

Only PX Trader 2.0 accounts can be connected to TradingView. MT5 accounts aren't supported.

I see "Session restore failed". What should I do?

Your TradingView session with PrimeXBT has expired. Click Connect in the PrimeXBT window and log in again. Your positions and orders aren't affected.

Trading

Why did my order fail on a specific stock?

TradingView shows charts for many markets that PrimeXBT doesn't offer. You can only trade instruments PrimeXBT supports: CFDs on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Shares and Crypto, and Crypto Futures.

To find a tradable instrument, click the instrument name in the top-left corner of the chart and use the PrimeXBT filter in Symbol Search. See Available instruments and trading conditions on TradingView.

Why do the BUY and SELL buttons open a list of brokers?

Your PrimeXBT account isn't connected, or the session has expired. Select PrimeXBT and click Connect. See How to connect PrimeXBT to TradingView.
