My verification was rejected. Why?

If your verification on PrimeXBT was rejected, it could be due to several reasons, including document issues or eligibility criteria. Below are the most common reasons for rejection and how you can resolve them.

Common Reasons for Verification Rejection

  1. Blurry or Low-Quality Documents

    • The uploaded document must be clear, with all text and details fully visible.

    • Ensure good lighting and avoid glare or shadows when taking the photo.

  2. Cropped or Incomplete Documents

    • All four corners of the document must be visible.

    • Do not submit edited or altered images.

  3. Expired or Invalid Documents

    • Ensure the document is valid and not expired.

    • Temporary or digital copies may not be accepted.

  4. Unacceptable Document Type

    • PrimeXBT accepts the following for identity verification: National ID, passport, residence permit, or driver’s license.

    • Accepted proof of address documents include utility bills, bank statements, government-issued letters, and rental agreements.

  5. Unsupported File Format or Size

    • Only upload documents in accepted formats.

    • Ensure the file size meets the platform’s requirements.

  6. Screenshots Not Accepted

    • Do not submit screenshots. Upload original photos or scanned copies of your documents.

  1. Duplicate Accounts

  • PrimeXBT allows only one account per user. If multiple accounts are created using the same identity or documents, verification will be rejected.

  • To resolve this, decide which account you want to keep and request the closure of duplicate accounts.

  1. Citizenship or Residency Restrictions

  • PrimeXBT does not accept U.S. citizens or residents for tax purposes. If you indicate that you are a U.S. citizen or resident, your verification will be rejected.

  1. Age Restrictions

  • PrimeXBT services are only available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. If you do not meet this requirement, your verification will be denied. You can reapply once you meet the age requirement.

  1. Pending Verification Timelines

  • Verification can take up to 24 hours to complete. If your submission is under review, no further action is needed. You will receive an email notification once the process is complete.

What to Do If Your Verification Is Rejected?

  • Check the rejection reason in the notification or email you received from PrimeXBT.

  • Retake the photo ensuring it is clear, in full view, and in an acceptable format.

  • Provide the correct document that meets the requirements.

  • Check for duplicate accounts: Ensure you have only one active account. Close any duplicates.

  • Confirm eligibility: Verify that you meet the age and residency requirements.
